At Sans Souci Speakers Club, we believe that the learning environment is just as important as what you learn. People relax and peform to their best in a warm, friendly and supportive atmosphere.
And that's why we meet at The Barn Premier Inn in a room, which is well lit, spacious and air conditioned. After a hard day at work..... or even an easy day at work, what could be better?
We are a non commercial non profit organisation with most of the membership fees covering the cost of room hire, but we think that it's well worth it.
Public Speaking Tip
Use humour at the beginning of your speech to grab and hold the attention of the audience.
“ I had planned to open with a few witty ad-libs.....but I seem to have left them at home ”
“ In the interest of being politically correct, I've deleted all controversial material from my speech.....Thank you, and good night. ”

Where to find us
The Barn Premier Inn, Hockley Heath, Solihull, is situated on the A3400 Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon road, 2 miles south of J4 of the M42.
Take a look at the map on the Premier Inn website or use the one opposite.
Please park at the rear and use the hotel entrance.
Parking is free, the area is well lit and security cameras are in operation.
Meeting dates
If you like the look of our venue and want to come along, you'll need to know when we meet.
We meet alternate Wednesdays throughout the year, except August.
Meetings are at 7 pm for 7.30pm and finish at around 10 pm.
